What a place for a lunch picnic!

On another day, we took a 2-hour hike up one mountain to La Roche (The Rock) which is a lookout over the lake and surrounding mountains. The campgrounds (several hundred sites) and beaches are around this lake, but not visible from the lookout.

Some leaves are starting to turn...

Before we returned to Montreal, we drove to Mt Tremblant Village which is a pedestrian-only town, very upscale.  We had dinner which  consisted of crepes, and dessert was soft ice cream laced with maple syrup.
