Wednesday, September 2, continued.

We decided to stop at Cannon Beach again on the way up, and were surprised at the number of people at Haystack rock.  It turns out that the sea was at low tide, and tide pools had been exposed.

Did you ever see such beauty?  These are the natural colors, not enhanced.

This is just a sampling of the pictures taken.

Stopped for lunch (clam chowder and halibut fish 'n chips) at Mo's in Tolovana Beach.

Stopped in Seaside to walk the streets.  We saw these mugs:  Know someone who could use these?

Towards home, we found that the bridge we needed to cross to get to Astoria was closed after 9 pm, and we had to detour on Alt Hwy 101.
