Sunday, Feb. 18 - Harlingen

We drove to Harlingen today, to the Hugh Ramsey nature park, one of several in that city that promised we could see a variety of birds. The only bird of note we saw there was the Pyrroloxia, a cousin of the red cardinal.

We did see some flowers, though.  The white Texas poppies were out. Other flowers as well.
