October 24 - Anna's Adoption

On October 24, we got to go to Houston to juvenile court for Anna's final adoption proceedings.

Here, we are waiting anxiously for the judge to take up our case.

 Near the end, the judge asked Anna if she would like to have Brady, Jan, Mary and Caden to be her "forever" family.  When she said yes, everyone got excited.

In the second picture, that's the judge with the new "forever" family.

It was a great day.  Here are other pictures taken that morning.

The one with Anna, Caden and Mary looking out of the building is one of our favorites.

October 24 - Houston Children's Museum

After that, we went out to lunch, then decided to go to the Houston Children's Museum for the rest of the afternoon.  This is the same place that Brady and Jan took Anna about a year ago just before they took Anna home for the firsy time.

The kids had fun painting their faces...
