WE BOUGHT OUR FIRST DIGITAL CAMERA IN 2000.

US TOUR

This is the first year we take our fifth wheel on a big trip.  We start in Dec 98 to work a January Sower project near San Diego, then a month in Pasadena with Derek and Verr, helping Derek with a build program, then a Sower month in Chico, California.  We then LEAVE OUR RV IN CHICO and head for ISRAEL AND ENGLAND for 2 months, followed by a Sower month in Washington state. A trip across the US and Canada brings us to a Sower month in Michigan, followed by a Sower month in Tennessee.  Then to Montreal, and back to Texas in time to help Brady with a building project and then have Christmas in Oklahoma.  What a year!

Sower month - Sowers are a Christian RV volunteer ministry serving churches and bible camps in the US and Canada.  We work three weeks a month, four days a week, and six hours a day for a total of 72 hours each month.
Six hours a day (devotions at 7:30, three two-hour shifts 8-10, 10:30-12:30, 1:30-3:30), four days a week (leaves 3-day weekend for R&R) and three weeks a month leaves us a week to travel to the next project.  Why not 4 weeks a month, 40-hour weeks, and 8-hour days?  Mainly because we are a volunteer organization composed mainly of 65+ year olds.

Come join us...

January - Indian Hills Camp

Indian Hills Camp is in Jamul, California near San Diego. It was our second Sower project, our first being at Calvary Commission in Lindale Texas.  We liked that one so much that we scheduled several this year.
